Visage Versus The Universe

Visage Versus The Universe

Visage Legs LaRue, a celebrated nightlife queen and drag performer, was waiting outside the bar one night for her Uber after a show, when a blinding bright light beamed down, and she found herself being drawn into the night sky. The only evidence of her abduction: a single earbud on the ground; the only witness: a mangy raccoon dining all fresco from the garbage can in the alley. Now she performs nightly -- whatever that is, oh good how she missed the sun and Earth! -- for alien tourists that travel to the desolate Moon just outside the asteroid belt around the glowing purple planet to watch the latest entertainer perform. If she's lucky, their chest lights will glow green, and she'll live to perform another day. If she's not lucky, she'll end up like the Others, frozen in time in the Museum of Earthicana, just beyond the stage. She chooses Black & Gold by Brenna Whitaker this evening, hoping, praying, that someone in the audience will take pity on her and help her escape and return to Earth. Is tonight finally the night her luck changes for the better ... or the worse?
